A big puffy white down jacket.

For the first two winters I lived in Seattle, I wore a wool coat. But this year, I decided enough was enough, this Texas girl needed something a lot warmer. I looked everywhere. I needed something that was long enough, but not too long that it overwhelmed my petite frame. I also wanted a white coat, because white feels like winter. I wanted a belt that would cinch at the waste since women tend to drown in their puffy jackets.  I wanted a hoodie, for the Seattle sprinkles, and I wanted fur, so that I looked like a little Eskimo. The hard thing about having an all white coat is that it gets dirty easily, especially the collar (with makeup). So this jacket solved everything! It’s washable, with detachable fur on the hoodie AND fur on the collar to protect from makeup stains (which is also detachable). I looked high and low, and everything I wanted, I found in this jacket:

(Couldn’t find it online anymore but the one below is just as nice, minus the fur)
