*I usually share outfits that emphasize flattering an apple shape, but while I’m growing my baby bump, I’ll be featuring maternity outfits.
Styling my baby bump
Right now I cannot get enough bardot type off the shoulder dresses, especially when they are form fitting and 3/4th sleeves. As soon as I saw this navy dress, I was like hello cart! Gotta have it. I don’t typically like buying new clothes, but since I’m feeling so worn down and tired and all together icky in my body with this second pregnancy, I decided to treat myself to a few new dresses. All my other maternity stuff is used, hand me down items, which I’m super grateful for, but not all of it is exactly flattering. It’s hard to feel sexy when you’re constantly tired, nauseous and gaining weight by the minute (or so it feels). Nate was happy that I treated myself to some maternity dresses.
What I love in maternity dresses:
Tight and midi length. It’s the one season in life when I’m proud to be growing a belly, so I’m happy to show it off. That’s what I’ve been loving to style my baby bump.
Where you can get items similar to what I’m wearing
You can get this exact dress from ASOS here.
Round nude sunnies go with everything and look great on wide faces. Here’s a similar round pair.
There’s something about peep toe heels that feel so sweet and feminine. Add the nude color and leg elongating factor, and I’m sold. These are similar to what I’m wearing.
I love my men’s fedora from Levi’s. It really holds its shape and the brim isn’t too wide and the crown isn’t too high. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a fedora, and believe me, I’ve been looking.
