*Will this outfit work on your body type? All my outfits emphasize flattering an apple shape -wider shoulders/narrow hips. In this picture I am 5’1″ and starting to show my baby bump. I am petite and also have a high waist and short torso.
How to make your fall flannel work as business casual attire
If you’re blessed to have a casual Friday at your job where you can wear business casual attire, pull out your camp shirts and try this look. I love pairing my flannel with a matching colored long beaded necklace. Two or three strands in varying lengths tucked behind the collar look great. Keep it sleek by wearing a fitted blazer. Quarter sleeves flatter anyone and allow you to let your flannel peek out some more.
Lastly, keep your denim fitted and dark and avoid any distressing ( holes, rips etc…). Keep it professional by finishing off the look with a classic pointy toe heel.
Where you can get items similar to what I’m wearing
Here are some blue and white flannel top options:
And some black pointy toe shoe options:
My friend made this necklace. Simple long beaded necklaces are so hard to find and so easy to make. Here’s an 18 inch one if you want a shorter option.
And a high rise dark denim skinny jean that would look great cuffed.
I love quarter sleeve fitted blazers. Here’s a great option.
If you like the look of cobalt blue with my bright coral lip, this is the exact shade I’m wearing.
