Friday Find: My Favorite Store Bought One Step Chicken Seasoning

easy chicken recipes

So yum. One step. One of the fool proof easy chicken recipes on repeat at my house.

*I usually share outfits that emphasize flattering an apple shape, but for the duration of my pregnancy, I’m only doing Friday Find posts. Style posts will return after I deliver. Today I’m sharing one of my favorite easy chicken recipes.

Seasoning for Lazy Cooks Everywhere to Make Easy Chicken Recipes

I’ve said this many times– I hate cooking. Such a disparity when you’re as big a foodie as I am! I figure I can google some 10 ingredient chicken rub or marinade. But gosh, there are so many seasoning bottles in the store. In my mind, I’m thinking, there’s gotta be one that requires no measuring, no additional ingredients, just dump on some boneless, skinless, chicken thighs and pan fry or grill. I’ve tried quite a few and it always felt like something was missing.

Then I came across this! I’m obsessed! You literally don’t have to measure. You just have to coat the chicken thighs generously. I pan fry in grape seed oil six minutes each side (covered). Done. Grab some veggies and mashed potatoes or rice and call it a meal. Soooooo extremely flavorful, you’ll wish you had guests over.

So to repeat:

The two ingredient, two step easy chicken recipe-

Ingredients:

  1. 1 package of boneless, skinless chicken thighs (usually comes with 4-6 cuts). Thighs are always more tender and juicy and harder to overcook than chicken breasts.
  2. McCormick Perfect Pinch Rotisserie Chicken

Steps:

  1. Generously (don’t measure!) coat both sides of chicken thighs with seasoning.
  2. After heating up the pan on medium high heat, pan fry  chicken thighs in grape seed oil (about 2 Tbsp) for 6 minutes on each side (cover the pan). This almost always ensures that the internal temperature is at 165 or higher.

If you need some ideas for perfect sides, I always make a variation of this go to mashed potato recipe and my go to veggie recipe (recipe calls for zucchini but I’ve cooked with this seasoning for any vegetable like green beans, asparagus, or sweet mini peppers).

That’s it! Do you have a favorite easy chicken recipe? I’d love to know.
