You MUST try Metropolitan Market’s “The Cookie.” It is the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever eaten.
It’s gigantic, full of chunks of chocolate instead of chips and has lots of toasted walnuts. The best part about this cookie is that it’s a huge mound of different textures. The outside is crispy but the middle is complex. It has a soft, almost not fully cooked texture. Like I know it’s fully cooked in the middle, but it has that almost cookie dough like texture I love.
I love that it’s not even called a chocolate chip cookie. It’s just “The Cookie” like everyone knows what you’re talking about when you say, “The Pill.” It’s so good and so infamous that it just takes over the entire category of cookies.
Also, it’s baked daily! I’m getting hungry just thinking of it. Where do you live? Are there any desserts that are must-try in your area? I’d love to know!
