My favorite loose leaf tea!

*I usually share outfits that emphasize flattering an apple shape, but while I’m settling into life with a new baby, I’ll only be doing Friday Find posts. Style posts will return when things have settled down.

My favorite teas

I love tea. But, I hate that some of my favorites have caffeine. I’ve already spoken of my adoration over this green tea for example. Because I had preeclampsia following the birth of my second son, I try to avoid caffeine these days. Thankfully there are some really amazing and yummy herbal tea varieties that don’t have caffeine. I love Tazo’s passion tea with lemon and honey. The hibiscus satisfies my need for tart and sweet. It’s great hot or cold.

A Soothing and Refreshing Loose Leaf Tea

When I’m not in the mood for my usual tart tea choice, I gravitate towards Mighty Leaf’s Organic African Nectar loose leaf tea for something soothing and equally refreshing.  I discovered this loose leaf tea at Nordstrom’s Ebar by chance, and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since. The base is African rooibos tea, which is delightfully rich and earthy. I usually love my rooibos with cream, but Mighty Leaf has a surprise twist! It balances out the creamy vanilla notes with a burst of mango and blossoms. My favorite way to drink this tea is sweetened with ice. Do you ever write about something so yummy and immediately want to run to the cupboard ASAP and make yourself said item? Happening as I type.
