Love her shirt! (haha not her facial expression) Oh to be a celebrity, with photographers catching your every (sometimes awkward) move.

It is soooo hard to find a red lipstick when your undertones have yellow. You don’t want the red to have a coral base because it just accentuates the yellow, and not in a good way. Red can look orangey very easily on Asian skin.

But yesterday, lo and behold! I found one that works great! Thanks to Dusty for his second opinion:)

Shiseido RD 514 – Perfect Rouge Parfait

Let me tell you what I mean by “the best products of all time.” I mean, I am DONE with my search in these areas. I am soooo satisfied with the results that I don’t feel any need to look any further!

Shampoo-

Wen. I know, it’s on an infomercial. But Oh My Gawd. It is the best stuff ever. Yes, I’m a Wen girl, and No they are not paying me to say that. I hardly EVER have to use my ceramic flat iron these days. I just blow dry my hair and Wala! It magically comes out smooth every time, and get this: without sacrificing volume. Wha?!!! I know! Sleekness with volume. Isn’t that every woman’s dream?

Flat Iron-

Sedu.I know the Chi gets way more credit…. but when I compared the reviews on Folica.com, I was convinced this was better. And guess what? I tried my friend’s Chi and my Sedu irons way smoother and the edges are rounded. So nice. So nice.

Dry Shampoo-

CornstarchI kid you not. I cannot live without this stuff. I’ll have to do a video post on just how to use it, but basically you just use a big fluffy powder brush, dip it into cornstarch, tap off the excess, part your hair, apply, make another part, apply, and so forth. Then you get a big flat brush and brush your roots out through the ends. It’s miraculous how second, third, forth day hair can look non-greasy and voluminous! I have spent big bucks on stuff that does not work: Oscar Blandi dry shampoo. Don’t waste your money! One of my best friends tried the drugstore version by Tresemme. Also sucks. I tried a good powder one by Principessa but seriously, save your money! Cornstarch works just as good, if not better… And don’t let the white powder fool you! I have JET black roots and it works just fine.

Facial Moisturizer-

Patricia Wexler M.D. Skin Regenerating Serum. I already told you how over the moon I am over this line here:) No pimples for almost three months now? And smooth, plump, soft, moisture rich skin in the dead of winter? Amazing.

Okay, not exactly sure if this song could ever be considered “hip hop” (even with the hip hop dancers in the background) BUT I am dying to do some hip hop choreography with this song! Oh my gawd. I love the beat. It sends me in a dizzy dream-like stupor. Is it just me or is the room spinning?

The weather outside is frightful… cold and gray, but no sign of white yet!

It’s the little details that makes me crush hard… like tiny little pinstripes on a waistcoat vest, a slouchy opening on an ankle bootie, not to mention, I love love LOVE that my little pleated skirt comes with a very tiny little front pouch! And soon enough… maybe I’ll be donning a nice little fanny pack. I love them:) Don’t hate!
